Description

A large deer. Height to the shoulder about 45 - 47 inches, weight 330 - 440 Ibs. The coat colour in the summer is reddish turning to grey in the winter.

Description

A large deer, height to the shoulder up to 56 inches, weight 300 - 450 Ibs. The coat colour in the summer is a reddish brown turning to darker brown in the winter. A mature male will develop a neck mane of long hair before the rut and carry it through the winter.

FALLOW DEER

Description

A medium size deer, height to the shoulder about 34 - 36 inches, weight 140 - 200 Ibs. The coat colour - there can be many colour variations in this breed from white through to very dark brown.

These are large with the main beam growing upwards from the forehead, and long backward-pointing tines which have small tines growing off them which can be seen here.
