The coat colour in the summer is a reddish brown turning to darker brown in the winter. A mature male will develop a neck mane of long hair before the rut and carry it through the winter. |
FALLOW DEER Description A medium size deer, height to the shoulder about 34 - 36 inches, weight 140 - 200 Ibs. The coat colour - there can be many colour variations in this breed from white through to very dark brown. |
