2011 PRICE LIST

Buffalo Packages:

PLEASE NOTE:  Quota permitting, Sable, Nyala, Crocodile (only on a 10 day Package), Red Duiker, Blue Duiker, Suni, Oribi, Warthog, Bushpig, Baboon, Reedbuck and Bushbuck can be hunted on a Buffalo Package for the extra license and trophy fee.  To ensure quota is available, these animals must be pre-arranged.

Leopard Package:

This package INCLUDES:

1)        License and trophy fees for the species listed in the package.

2)        Daily rate.

This package & all standard safaris EXCLUDE’S:

1)        Rifle permit:  $200 per rifle.

2)        Hunt license:  $350 per client.

3)        Packing and dipping of trophies.

4)        Shipment of trophies to the USA & South Africa.

5)        Charter flights – as per quotation.

6)        A community of $350 per safari per hunter.

7)        17% VAT on daily rate portion of package.

DAILY RATES:

Daily Rates EXCLUDE 17% VAT.

BASIC SAFARI RATES INCLUDE:

1                      Services of our fully qualified, licensed professional hunters

2                      Accommodations in deluxe safari camp

3                      Full safari support staff as required

4                      Complete meals and all beverages

5                      Field preparation of all trophies

NOT INCLUDED IN BASIC RATES:

1                      Trophy fees on animals taken or wounded.

2                      Costs of dipping, packing, crating, etc

3                      Costs of air charters as required or requested.

4                      Costs of any required hotel accommodations

5                      Gratuities for safari staff/professional hunters

6                      Commercial flight from Johannesburg to Beira: approximately $700 per person (two ways). Transport from Beira to camp and back (per vehicle) $800 or charter $2000 for aircraft (maximum 3 people).  Rates are subject to change, use as a guide line only.

ELEPHANT HUNTS:

Minimum of 14 days

LICENSE FEES:

License fees are payable 30 days before your safari and are not refundable should the trophy not be taken.  A general hunting license is also required by all clients at a cost of $350 per

hunter.

EXPORT OF TROPHIES:

A basic fee of $300 is charged per client for government paperwork, this covers Mozambique Customs, Veterinary Inspection and Wildlife Inspection.  The cost of your safari

excludes the packing, dipping and export or your trophies from Mozambique.  ‘Trophy Exports Mozambique’ will handle on this on your behalf.

PACKAGES:

Packages are payable in full 30 days prior to the hunt.  As they are sold at a discounted rate, in the unlikely event of the package trophies not being taken, no portion of the package

is refundable.

SEASONS:

Hunting season is from the 01^st June to the 30^th November.

GENERAL CONDITIONS:

DEPOSITS:

A 50% deposit on the daily rate of 50% of the total cost of a hunting package is required to confirm the booking.  The balance is payable 30 days prior to your safari.  In the event of a 

cancellation, deposit is liable to forfeiture if we are unable to contract another safari to replace your booking.

HEALTH PRECAUTIONS:

Mozambique is a malaria area, and clients must take precautions. It is suggested that you take ‘Lariam’ or ‘Malarone’ tablets – with your doctor’s approval.

NEEDED FOR MOZAMBIQUE:

1          Visa (available on arrival).

2          You need to send the Mozambique S.A office:

·          2 passport sized photographs

·          A photocopy of the first page of your passport.

·          Proof of Ownership of your rifle

3          We need the following information regarding your rifle:

·          Calibre of rifle

·          Make of rifle

·          Serial number of rifle (and total rounds of ammunition). 

4          Rifle permit costs $200 per rifle or shotgun.

PLEASE NOTE:  The above information, passport photographs and photocopy of your passport must reach us at least 12 weeks before you hunt.

CUSTOMS, IMMIGRATION AND FLIGHTS:

We have a private agent that will meet you in Beira with all your relevant paperwork.  Please bring your passport.  A visa can be issued on arrival.  A fee of $50 to be paid directly to the agent.

PAYMENT

Outstanding amounts on daily rates are to be paid on the day of arrival.  Daily rates are charged per night spent in camp.  Trophy fees are to be paid on the last day in camp.  All payments are to be made in cash, certifies bank draft or travellers cheques.  (We do not accept personal cheques as they can take over a month to be cleared.)

TERMS OF BUSINESS:

1                      50% of the daily rate or 50% of the total cost of the hunting package is required to confirm a safari. The balance of the daily rate must be paid on arrival. (Daily rates are charged per night spent in camp).

2                      All fees are payable in U.S. Dollars. Payments must be made in cash, travellers, or cashier’s checks.

3                      Deposit is liable to forfeiture if we are unable to contract another safari to replace your booking.

4                      Licence fees for animals are payable before commencement of safari and are not refundable should the trophy not be taken.

INSURANCE:

It is advisable to take out adequate insurance for yourself and your property for the duration of the safari as you are not covered by insurance through Northern Zululand Safaris.

LIABILITY:

While every effort will be made to safeguard you and your property, Northern Zululand Safaris accepts no liability or responsibility whatsoever for any illness, accident or loss incurred during the course of the safari or for any expense arising from such illness accident of loss.  By booking and paying a deposit for a safari, you are deemed to have accepted these liability and insurance clauses
